Grey Scale Ombré with Foil Tattoos

Hey y'all! See, I told you I have a post for every day this week! After yesterday's post with the Ellagee Grey Scale collection, I wanted to incorporate all five in a simple nail art design. I haven't ever done an ombré mani, and since the collection is basically a set of varying hues, they would work perfect for one.

I decided to keep with the monotone look and use more of the silver foil tattoos for a nice embellishment.

Ellagee Grey Scale Collection

Hi friends! I am super excited for today's post. First, I am so happy to have a soon-to-be release from Indie polish Ellagee - a five piece set consisting of grey polishes ranging from an almost white to a rich black. Secondly, Ellagee is based out of San Antonio! I love sharing and supporting Texas based Indie makers.

Back to the collection. Like I said it is a five piece set of grey cream polishes with each one increasing in tone. Think ombré with grey!  The art nerd in me is all over this set. Grey is such a versatile color and I cannot wait to use them in some nail art! Okay, enough chatter, let's get to the polish!

Twinsie Tuesday: Match Your Nails To Your Car

Hey there guys and gals! Today's Twinsie Tuesday post is kind of an odd one for me. The theme is match your nails to your car. Welp. I drive a white Honda Fit. I love my car. It is fun to drive, gets great gas mileage and looks pretty sweet. But it's white - which I love on cars. I think a white car, especially one like the Fit looks awesome, not really inspiring though. At least for me anyway. So here it is folks! My nails matching my car!

Julie G Damsel

Hey y'all, happy Monday! So I may have spent too much time editing photos and not putting actual posts together last week. But fear not. All of those edited photos are being put to good use, as I have a blog post for almost every day this week!

A couple of weeks ago I received a bottle of Julie G polish in my April Ipsy bag. Julie G isn't sold anywhere near Austin that I know of because we don't have Rite-Aid stores (the drugstore that carries Jesse's Girl and Julie G cosmetics) and I was super excited to finally try the brand out. I love Ipsy for this reason. More often than not, I am really pleased with the products in my bag and have used almost all of them! The polish color I got is one from the Julie G core line called Damsel.

Nail Strip Water Decals from Born Pretty

Heeeeeeyyyyy you guys! So if you follow my FB page, you may have seen a little notice I posted  about 2 weeks ago saying that the video card on my laptop had crashed and I wouldn't be able to post while it was getting fixed. I finally got it back Monday and have been trying to catch up on editing photos and putting together posts.

Today I have some more Born Pretty goodies. I love nail strips in any form. They are such a great way to add a little something extra to a basic mani. These strips from Born Pretty are a different sort than any I have tried. Instead of being a peel and stick strip, they are water decal strips!

Matte Grey and Purple Leopard Print NOTD

Hey guys and gals! So my little burst of creativity didn't disappear, whooo! It is so nice to sit down with my polish and be inspired to do a little design, even if it is something as simple as a leopard print!
